I heart this family.
I first met them about 2 years ago when Kelly was pregnant with their daughter. Time fly's and here we are two years later.
Kelly, Cody, Tripp & Locklyn reminded me today why I have my passion for photography. It was such a great morning with lots of laughs. Being around the Hayes family I really felt the love the four of them share.
Thank you again for letting me capture your amazing smiles today.
I heart this family.
There is some rivalry among the parents on which is the best hockey team going, so we went with a Vancouver Canucks/Calgary Flames theme. I love the colors and character it brought to this shoot.
Madison has a special place in her heart for horses and anything cowgirl. With her love for horses and being in the barn with her parents you would think that she wouldn't have been affaird of getting dirty. Miss Madison was very dainty and at first didn't like the idea of making a mess. She would bat her beautiful blue eyes and just pick away at the icing. Then with a bit of cheering and showing her she was allowed to eat it, Madison started smashing the cake. She still managed to keep it very clean and tidy and next to nothing of cake on the floor but she sure knew how to get every ounce of icing sugar off that cake and onto her body.
Happy Birthday Madison!
Congrats Rob & Toni for surviving the first year. The best is yet to come and I seriously mean that.
Today I had the honor of capturing the wedding of Sherry & Gerard. When I first met them we hit it off right away and I couldn't wait to be part of their special day. Some people you just click with and this couple was one of them. After the crazy weather that hit Calgary this past week I wasn't sure what to expect this weekend but Mother Nature pulled through. I arrived at Delta Kananaskis Lodge today and couldn't have asked for a better day.
The small intimate wedding held over looking the mountains made me speechless. You couldn't ask for a better setting.
Thank you Gerrard & Sherry for allowing me to be part of your special day. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, laughs and lots of golf.
Today I met with the Radu Family for the second time. I had the pleasure of meeting them last Fall during one of my Mini Sessions and this time around Nannie & Pappie joined us.
We couldn't have asked for a better morning at Fish Creek Park, considering what Mother Nature has in store for us tomorrow.
We headed back to BC this summer and it felt fitting to take Abigail's third year photo session at Palm Beach. This beach is very close to my husbands heart as he grew up here as a child.
I think I blinked and Abigail went from being born to turning three. She is a little girl who has brought so much joy into our lives. She has a personality that lightens up a room. She makes you smile when you didn't think you could. She is very inquisitive. She talks your ear off and you sometimes ask yourself "where are the batteries?"
In less then 6 months she will be a big sister. I can't wait for Abigail to share her love and excitement for this world with her new baby brother or sister.
