Dorthy Dean } Calgary Photographer

Today I met Sara along with three adorable little children.
Dorthy was our main focus as she just recently turned one but with all these munchkins running around I couldn't help but capture some of all of them. Jack and Dorthy belong to The Dean Family and Maggie is Sara's niece who you will see a photo of that is priceless; she didn't want to leave. I say it's because she loved having her picture taken but I could be a little bias.
Sweet Dorthy was full of smiles from start to finish and Jack was so sweet with always helping his little sis.

Yah, Summer is here} Calgary Family Photographer

What a beautiful Sunday we just had, summer is finally here.
I met with Kara and her extended family this past weekend at Riley Park in Calgary's NW. Kara's brother, nephew and mom were visiting for a week and wanted to capture some family shots.  This family likes to have fun. They were climbing trees, swinging in them like monkeys and even piggy backs, such a fun morning.
Thanks for the laughs and hopefully you six left with minimal mosquito bites.

The Rivera Family Session } Calgary Photographer

I first met The Rivera Family when little Camilla turned one; I photographed her first birthday party. It was great to catch up with them on such a beautiful sunny Sunday morning.

Snyders Are Having A Bambino } Calgary Maternity Photographer

I met Melissa & Eddy through a mutual friend a few years ago, so when they asked if I would capture a maternity session for them I was honored too.
We met on Saturday morning at Edworthy Park and we were presented with a very warm morning and bright sunshine.

Melissa is a glowing Mama-to-be and full of energy, doesn't she look amazing? Eddy...aka Daddy was a little nervous at first but by looking at the pictures you wouldn't be able to tell; he was a great sport.
Looking forward to meeting the new addition to the Snyders Family.

Jaxon's Cake Smash } Calgary Cake Smash Photographer

Little Jaxon is turning one. Cake smashes have been my favorite the last while. I love seeing these monkeys reactions to the texture and taste of cake. Jaxon was full of smiles from start to finish. Start to finish was only 45 minutes, he destroyed his cake very quickly as you can see from the last photo of this blog. He dove right in like he was a veteran.
Thank you little guy for a fun Saturday afternoon.

Abigail } Calgary Children Photographer

I decided on an impromptu photo shoot with my daughter Abigail and those always seem to get me the best results. I didn't have high expectations because I wasn't sure what I was aiming for but I am beyond excited about the results. With just moving into our new house I have been dying to put up some new photos.
I look at these photos and am speechless at how beautiful my little monster is and how fast she is growing. I always tell my clients at newborn sessions and cake smashes to not blink because they keep getting bigger before you know it. I wish I could put toothpicks in my eyes so that this little one would stay little forever (minus the temper tantrums).

Kayla is turning One } Calgary Cake Smash

It only took a year to meet Miss Kayla. I work with Kayla's auntie and always heard so much about her, yet we had never met. Finally on Saturday I met Enza and Mike and their adorable little one Kayla.
There is always so much anticipation when it comes to a cake smash; you never know what is going to happen. Well needless to say Kayla didn't disappointment and was all about the cake. She was more interested in getting the icing between every little toe and finger then to actually taste the cake.

Thank you Vaidya family for having me capture some photos of your sweet little girl!
